Have you tried checking to see if the builder left some sticker (or paper) with information on it such as the paint color? For example, in our home the builder left a sticker with the paint colors, plumber phone number, etc. on the inside of the cabinet under the kitchen sink. You might want to try checking for something like that. Just a thought.
