Flying Biscuit Cafe

This place is really good. The biscuits are yummy, the apple butter is great, and if you go for lunch, they have a lot of healthy options that most restaurants do not have. For example, if you order a Turkey Burger, instead of it coming with fries, it comes not only with a salad, but a salad made of all organic greens. I think it's really a good place for brunch or lunch.

Phat Burrito

I work within walking distance, and those fish tacos call my name every day around lunch time. My coworker's say the rest of the menu is awesome, too but I have always stuck to the fish tacos and burritos because they are so good. One thing to note is that the indoor seating is limited so there is sort of an unspoken rule about not lingering too long after you finish your food if there is a crowd waiting to sit down.

McCormick and Schmicks Restaurant

I had lunch here yesterday and it was awesome.

One neat thing is that the fresh fish and their origin are on the menu.

I highly recommend the calamari. It was some of the best I've ever had --- and I've had lots of calamari. They give you 3 different dipping sauces which is really nice.

All of their fish is good. Particular standouts from the menu are their soups and also their mahi mahi cakes.

Overall, I have to say, this is one chain restaurant that really serves high quality food and at reasonable prices.

Greek Isles

This place is great. Their Greek Salads are probably the best I've ever had. Great for lunch or dinner but their lunch menu is more affordable. All the traditional Greek specialties are delicious, and they have some great pasta selections.

Bruegger's Bagel Bakery

This is my standard place for morning bagels. The quality is always good and the staff is nice. I recommend the "Radishy Roast Beef" or if you are in a smoked salmon mood, their "Smoked Salmon" bagel is always very good. My only complaint is that I wish they had better iced coffee. I haven't tried their soups yet but they also look really good.

Camille's Sidewalk Cafe

I started going here because my wife and I wanted something different from Panera, Subway, etc. At first we liked the change of pace from our usual sandwiches... but after a while we decided we really weren't that crazy about the food here. Overall, I think Panera is much better. At Camille's you only get tortilla chips as a side item while at Panera, you can choose from soup, salad, etc. A definitely plus for this place is that they have a large variety of wraps.

So, it's okay as a change of pace from other sandwich places but I think we will be sticking with Panera.
